Issue:

Some customers are experiencing an issue where the Work Order tab is highlighted red, indicating the presence of Work Orders under a particular customer. However, when they click on the tab, the work orders are not visible.


Cause:

The reason for the red highlight on the Work Order tab and the inability to directly view the work orders is attributed to the specific settings configured for Work Orders. When the Work Order status is set to either "closed" or "cancelled," the system initiates an archiving process, automatically storing these work orders in archives after a period of 12 months as defined in the Work Order settings (see the screen print below). This archiving functionality is implemented to ensure efficient data management.




Solution:

Customers can still access the archived Work Orders by opening the corresponding invoices. Invoices retain a comprehensive historical record of the work orders, even if they have been cancelled and subsequently archived from the main Work Order tab.
