This new feature aims to make it easier for our customers to access help desk articles directly. It will walk you through the new functionality for both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop connectors, as well as demonstrate its application with Sage.

QuickBooks Online Connector:

When you use the accounting connector to sync your data with QuickBooks Online, sometimes you might encounter error messages telling you that something went wrong during the sync.

Now, when you see an error message, you can quickly access help desk articles that explain how to solve the problem.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use this new feature:

  • Login to ServiceBox.
  • From the dropdown menu, select "QuickBooks Online".

  • On the QuickBooks online Sync page, click "Go".
  • QuickBooks will start syncing all data including customers, invoices, vendors etc.

  • When an error message appears, it will be indicated in a distinct blue color, signifying the availability of a related help desk article.
  • Click on the error message, and it will take you directly to the article, or, you can right-click on the error message and choose the option to open the article in a new tab.
  • These articles will give you step-by-step instructions on what to do to fix the problem.
  • You can also open the invoice in a new tab by performing the same right-click or one-click action to make required updates and resolve issues.
