Error Message
"Error modifying customer X: The string Y in the field Z is too long."
Cause
QuickBooks Desktop has limits on the length of some fields, this error is caused when a particular field in ServiceBox has a value that is too long for QuickBooks Desktop. We do not limit fields in ServiceBox according to the size in QuickBooks Desktop because other customers may integrate with different accounting software with different size requirements.
Resolution
To resolve this, you will have to go to that customer in ServiceBox and change the corresponding field to be shorter.
