The service reminder feature enables the system to send service reminders to customers based on the time period specified by the customer. To activate this feature, customers need to go under their username settings and check the checkbox under general features. The system will then send out service reminders x number of months from the last closed work order, provided that the customer's job sites are configured to receive service reminders.

The last closed work order will serve as the start point for the countdown to send the service reminder. Now let's discuss the enhancement added to this feature. ServiceBox has added an option to the service reminder section on the customer and job site portal that allows customers to specify an email address for the service reminder. This enhancement enables the system to send service reminders to the specified email address, overriding the default customer email address.

This feature provides customers with the ability to override the email services for service reminders on both the customer and job site portal. The system checks if a customer has a job site and then checks if the job site has service reminders checked off. If the email address is set within the job site portal, the system will override the default customer email address and send the service reminder to the specified email address.



If there's no email address specified in the job site form, the system will follow the same process and look for the customer profile. The system will set the email address to whatever is set on the customer profile if the customer has a job site or has the service reminder email specified. Customers can also enter multiple email addresses by using a comma delimiter to separate them.



Service Box's new service reminder feature and enhancement provide customers with a convenient way to receive timely service reminders. With this feature, customers can configure their job sites to receive service reminders and set their preferred email addresses to receive the reminders.
